That's right Mummy

Here's the thing. I keep hearing my words come out of Molly's mouth, only in a much cuter voice (my nickname at Uni was Orville, so you know my voice is kind of irritating at times).

This weekend we took a day trip to Lake Coleridge, it's just beautiful out there (photos to come when I get round to downloading them onto the PC), but it is quite a long car journey for our Moo. We packed up a bag full of distractions and snacks and treats to keep her happy, but eventually we had to resort to talking to her, ha ha!! So, we started to point out everything, landmarks, other cars, animals, you know. After a while she was joining in and naming everything she could see, from snow on the mountains to sheep. We passed a field of cows and she didn't say anything so I said 'look Molly, cows!' and without missing a beat she said 'that's right Mummy!'. Of course hubby thought this was hilarious and laughed long and hard. Can you guess what Molly's favourite phrase is right now?

'That's right Mummy', ha ha haaaaa.

Just because...

Sometimes I need reminding of just how cute and beautiful she really is... oooh yes, she's nearly two today!!

It's OK really, I'm coming to terms with the fact that approximately 50% of Molly's day is devoted to winding me up in whatever fashion amuses her at the time. And you know she's becoming expert at it, bless her!

I know this is all normal and I can see the light at the end of the 2 year old tunnel already (in her little friends who I've watched go through and come out the other side of the 'terrible twos') and she really is the cutest thing when she wants to be... it's just getting her to want to be that girl sometimes... these things are sent to try us...
