Cheers Drive!

There are things that I'd missed about 'home' that really surprised me.

When we lived in Bristol I really wasn't a big fan of the accent. A gentle West Country lilt is fine, but the big, brash and ever so slightly common sounding (sorry) Bristolian one just grated on my nerves and set my teeth on edge - even though mine was as bad as any others I guess.

But being back for such a short time I really listened to it, and I really liked it. On a shopping trip (don't even get me started on this one... I miss the shopping too!) with my sister we stood in a queue for a couple of days (I don't miss that!) and I couldn't stop grinning. You Kiwi's are right, we do indeed sound like a bunch of pirates and I love it! All together now... ooooarrrrrr! gert lush to see y'all my babbers!

We're back!

Did you miss us? We missed you!

We had the best time but oh my God! is it Friday or Saturday? Day or night? Up or down? and while we're at it, what the hell happened to the weather?!

Having said all of that, I guess it's not so hard to understand why Molly is still not getting the time zone thing right yet! She's crashed out on the floor at the moment (don't panic I did put a big cushion under her and the fleecy rug over her!), and it's really lunchtime, but hey... if she's tired she's tired and eventually we'll get her sleeping at night again... eventually...

So, I've got so much to write about and absolutely no energy to do so as yet. I'll try to keep it as chronological as I can, but might not get it all right, and as long as all the fun stuff gets on it doesn't matter too much. I'll catch up as soon as I can. But in the mean time here's a picture of our one year old cutie pie to keep you all going! Reclining on Nanny's couch, she's ready for her close up - this is her newest glamour girl pose.
